About Me
Daniel F Soler was born in the Department of Oran, Algeria. He moved to France in 1962 and, after completing his military service, in 1967 he travelled to Tahiti, living there for two years. He then went for a holiday to Australia, where he still lives today.
Daniel’s love of theatre and writing started at a young age and continues to this day.
In the mid-1970s, while living in Sydney and working with George and Charis Schwartz, he wrote and directed the short thriller Dead End. He reworked his film script, To Catch a Snail, into a play in 2013. Access Denied was written as a short story in 2016, then also transformed into a play. Both were published on Amazon during the pandemic in 2021. Daniel also writes radio plays and is planning the release of his historical fiction novel, The Iron Cross and the Yellow Star, in 2025. He is currently working on his next memoir, The Ears of the Jackal (Part Two).
Throughout his life, Daniel has never ceased to write or perform; thus, his short stories, plays, poems, songs, and novels are the products of his dedication.
