When I dropped out of high school in 1977 and joined the Marine Corps, neither I nor any of my friends and family could have imagined that my life’s trajectory would ultimately take a 180. In retrospect,  In it does indeed seem an unlikely path that I became a school leader over 30 years ago, earned a PhD in Education, and later became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

For nearly 20 years, I’ve been using my experiences and qualifications to help other charter school leaders and board members build sustainable schools that prepare kids to be successful, both as individuals and as citizens of a free society
