Refund Policy

Effective date: 21 August 2026

Scope of this policy

This Refund Policy applies to downloadable digital products purchased from the EMDA HealthTech online store.

EMDA HealthTech is a trading name of EMDA PLUS Ltd. Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Digital downloads and change-of-mind requests

Our digital products are normally made available for download immediately after payment.

Under UK consumer law, a consumer normally has a 14-day cancellation period for digital content purchased at a distance. However, this right is lost once supply begins where the consumer has:

• Expressly consented to immediate delivery; and

• Acknowledged that the right to cancel will be lost once the download or access begins.

Where these requirements have been met and the product has been made available for immediate download or access, we do not normally provide refunds solely because:

• You changed your mind.

• You no longer want or need the product.

• You did not read the product description before purchasing.

• You expected features that were not included in the product description.

• You lack compatible software or equipment where the relevant requirements were clearly disclosed.

If the legally required consent and acknowledgement were not obtained, your statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

Faulty, corrupted or misdescribed products

Please contact us if a digital product:

• Cannot be downloaded following a successful payment.

• Is corrupted or cannot be opened using suitable compatible software.

• Is materially different from its product-page description.

• Contains a significant technical defect that prevents its stated use.

• Otherwise fails to meet applicable statutory requirements.

We may first provide reasonable troubleshooting assistance, a corrected file, repair or replacement. Where repair or replacement is impossible, cannot be completed within a reasonable time, or would cause significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction or refund under applicable law.

Duplicate or incorrect purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, contact us promptly. After verifying the duplicate transactions, we will normally refund the unintended duplicate purchase.

If you purchase the wrong product, contact us as soon as possible and do not download or access it. We may consider an exchange or discretionary refund based on the circumstances and available transaction and download records.

A discretionary refund does not create an obligation to provide the same outcome in future cases.

Compatibility and printing differences

Before purchasing, review the product description and any stated file-format, software, device or printing requirements.

Differences caused solely by a customer’s device, browser, operating system, PDF reader, screen, printer or settings do not necessarily make a product defective where the relevant requirements were accurately disclosed.

If you experience a technical issue, contact us so that we can attempt to resolve it before a refund decision is made.

How to request assistance or a refund

Email emda.educate@gmail.com and include:

• Your full name.

• The email address used for the purchase.

• Your order number.

• The product name.

• The purchase date.

• A clear description of the problem.

• Relevant screenshots, where appropriate and safe to provide.

Do not send complete payment-card details, completed health planners, medical records or unnecessary sensitive information.

Refund requests must be made by the purchaser unless another person is legally authorised to act on their behalf.

Refund processing

If we agree that a refund is due, it will normally be returned through the original payment method.

Refund timing can depend on Stripe, the customer’s bank and other payment providers. Where UK consumer law specifies a timeframe, the refund will be issued without undue delay and within the applicable legal period.

Refunding a purchase may terminate the customer’s licence to use the product.

Any downloaded copies must then be deleted unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Fraud, misuse and chargebacks

We may refuse a discretionary refund where there is evidence of fraud, repeated misuse, unauthorised sharing, copying, resale or other breach of our Terms and Conditions. This does not affect statutory rights relating to genuinely faulty or misdescribed digital content.

Please contact us first if you do not recognise a transaction or have a problem with a purchase. Nothing in this policy prevents you from exercising lawful rights through your card provider or payment service.
