How it works
Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and converted at checkout. For example, you might see a choice of paying C$6.99 or US$5.05, and you can select your preferred currency. To pay conveniently and securely and get immediate access to your book, simply select your payment method. Use the drop-down menu to select the flag of your country so you can enter your phone number and postal code. The payment company will request your email and send your receipt. None of this information is shared with the author.
After you make your payment,
- you’ll be directed to a landing page on BookFunnel where you can click the button to get your book.
- Once you click it, you will be asked to enter your email. (You have the option to join my email newsletter.)
- A new pop-up asks you to select your preferred e-reader. Your choices are the BookFunnel app, Kindle, Kobo, Nook, Play Books, or Read in Browser.
- Next, you’ll get a button prompting you to download the file and send it to your chosen platform.
- Now go to your reading app and upload. You will see your new eBook in your library.
If you did not go to the landing page on BookFunnel, or need to do it another day, go to your email and look for an email from help@bookfunnel.com
This email from BookFunnel contains a link to access your book. The link is for your personal use and not for sharing. You will be permitted to click it twice to add the book to two of your devices. This link expires in two weeks, so download it before it’s gone.
Audiobooks
While I have not yet produced audiobook formats of my books, you can convert your ebook to an audiobook at no cost with the virtual voice on either Kindle or Google Play Books. Here's how:
Once the eBook is in your library,
- Open the eBook
- Click the "Aa" in the upper right corner
- When the font menu opens, click "More"
- Turn on Assistive Reader
- Return to the book, highlight a few words of text and click "Play".
This automated voice will continue reading until you stop it. This audio reader is free.
