TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your purchase, download, and use of digital products sold by Finish Line Build Systems LLC (“Finish Line Build Systems,” “FLBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using one of our products, including The Classic Truck Build System, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase, download, or use the product.
1 - DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Finish Line Build Systems provides digital planning tools, spreadsheets, workbooks, templates, guides, and related materials intended to help customers organize vehicle projects, parts, budgets, tasks, and records.
Digital products are delivered electronically. No physical product will be shipped unless a product listing expressly states otherwise.
2 - PERSONAL-USE LICENSE
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the purchased product for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may:
• Use the product for your own personally owned vehicle projects.
• Use the product for more than one personally owned vehicle project.
• Save working copies and reasonable backup copies for your own use.
• Enter, modify, and organize your own project information within the product.
You may not:
• Share the product or copies of it with another person, business, shop, club, or organization.
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lend, upload, publish, or give away the product.
• Post the product to a website, file-sharing service, cloud folder, forum, social-media group, or shared drive where others can access it.
• Remove or conceal copyright, trademark, branding, license, or ownership notices.
• Use the product to create a competing digital product, template, workbook, or service for resale or distribution.
• Use the product for client work, repair-shop operations, consulting, or other commercial purposes without written permission or a separate commercial license from Finish Line Build Systems.
Each person who wants to use the product must purchase their own license unless a different license is expressly provided in writing.
3 - OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The product is licensed, not sold.
Finish Line Build Systems retains all rights, title, and interest in the product, including its design, structure, formulas, layouts, written instructions, graphics, branding, and other original content.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual-property rights to you.
“Finish Line Build Systems,” the FLBS logo, product names, graphics, and related branding may not be used without prior written permission.
4 - SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY
Unless the product listing states otherwise, FLBS spreadsheet products are designed and officially supported for use with a current or recent desktop version of Microsoft Excel for Windows or macOS.
Use with Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, mobile spreadsheet applications, browser-based spreadsheet applications, older versions of Excel, or other software may result in altered formatting, missing features, formula errors, or reduced functionality. Those platforms are not officially supported unless expressly stated in the product description.
You are responsible for confirming that you have suitable software and a compatible device before purchasing.
5 - UPDATES AND PRODUCT VERSIONS
Your purchase includes the version identified on the product page at the time of purchase.
We may provide corrections, maintenance updates, or minor improvements to that version at our discretion. Unless expressly promised in the product listing, your purchase does not include every future edition, redesign, expansion, or major version.
Major future versions may be offered as separate products or paid upgrades.
Customers who qualify for a clearly advertised Founding Customer promotion—including the first 25 qualifying purchasers of The Classic Truck Build System when that offer is active—will receive the stated Version 2 benefit according to the promotion shown at the time of purchase. Purchase records and the applicable product listing determine eligibility.
We do not promise indefinite support, lifetime updates, or permanent availability unless expressly stated in writing.
6 - DIGITAL DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital products are normally delivered through Payhip or another identified delivery service after payment is completed.
You are responsible for:
• Providing an accurate email address at checkout.
• Downloading and safely storing your files.
• Maintaining your own backup copies.
• Protecting download links and purchased files from unauthorized access.
• Keeping your software and device reasonably current and secure.
If you do not receive your files, first check your spam or junk folder and your Payhip purchase library. If the problem continues, contact FinishLineBuildSystems@gmail.com with your order email address.
7 - REFUNDS
Because our products are delivered digitally and cannot be physically returned, purchases are generally nonrefundable after the product has been downloaded or accessed, except where required by applicable law.
Please contact us within 14 days of purchase if:
• You received a damaged, incomplete, or corrupted file.
• You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
• The product does not function substantially as described when used with officially supported software.
• You did not receive access to the purchased product.
We may attempt to correct the issue, provide a replacement file, provide technical assistance, or issue a refund when appropriate.
A change of mind, failure to read the product description, lack of compatible software, or dissatisfaction with a feature that was accurately described does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
Our separate Refund Policy, when posted on the store, is incorporated into these Terms. Applicable law and mandatory payment-platform requirements will control where they provide additional rights.
8 - PRODUCT SUPPORT
Reasonable product support is available by emailing FinishLineBuildSystems@gmail.com.
Support covers issues involving delivery, file integrity, and the product’s intended operation in officially supported software.
Support does not include:
• General computer or Microsoft Excel training.
• Custom spreadsheet development or modification.
• Vehicle diagnosis, repair, engineering, fabrication, or parts selection.
• Recovery of customer data lost because of device failure, deletion, incompatible software, or failure to maintain backups.
• Assistance with modified, redistributed, or unauthorized copies.
9 - PLANNING TOOL—NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
FLBS products are organizational and planning tools only.
They do not constitute mechanical, engineering, fabrication, electrical, safety, legal, tax, financial, insurance, or other professional advice. They are not a substitute for vehicle-specific service information, manufacturer documentation, inspections, professional judgment, or work performed by qualified technicians.
You are solely responsible for confirming all project information, including:
• Part numbers and applications.
• Vehicle and component compatibility.
• Dimensions, clearances, threads, fittings, materials, and capacities.
• Torque specifications, fluid specifications, pressures, and electrical requirements.
• Installation procedures and safety requirements.
• Applicable laws, inspection standards, registration requirements, and emissions rules.
Prices, budgets, schedules, sample entries, and examples are estimates or illustrations only. They are not vendor quotes, guarantees, or assurances of project cost, availability, completion time, safety, or performance.
10 - VEHICLE-WORK SAFETY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Vehicle repair, restoration, modification, fabrication, and testing can involve serious risks, including fire, electrical hazards, chemical exposure, component failure, property damage, bodily injury, and death.
You are responsible for using appropriate tools, protective equipment, procedures, inspections, and qualified professional assistance.
By using an FLBS product, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for decisions, purchases, work, and results associated with your vehicle project. Never rely on the product as the sole basis for a safety-critical decision.
11 - NO WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FLBS products are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no express or implied warranty that a product will:
• Meet every individual requirement.
• Be compatible with every device or software version.
• Be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Prevent mistakes, overspending, delays, component incompatibility, injury, or property damage.
• Produce a particular project, financial, mechanical, or safety outcome.
We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and any other warranty that may legally be disclaimed.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
12 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finish Line Build Systems LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the purchase or use of a product.
This includes, without limitation:
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, opportunities, or time.
• Incorrect purchases or project expenses.
• Project delays or failed projects.
• Vehicle damage or component failure.
• Personal injury or damage to other property.
• Reliance on entered data, formulas, examples, estimates, or product output.
• Inability to access or use a product or third-party service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Purchases and product delivery may involve third-party services such as Payhip, Stripe, PayPal, Microsoft, internet providers, or cloud-storage services.
Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Finish Line Build Systems does not control and is not responsible for third-party outages, account restrictions, software changes, payment processing, or service performance.
Payhip’s terms and end-user license also apply to purchases made through Payhip. These Terms govern your relationship with Finish Line Build Systems and your use of our products.
14 - PROHIBITED AND UNLAWFUL USE
You may not use an FLBS product:
• In violation of any law or regulation.
• To infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or contractual rights.
• To distribute malicious software or interfere with a computer system.
• In connection with fraud, deceptive conduct, or unlawful activity.
• In any manner that misrepresents affiliation with or endorsement by Finish Line Build Systems.
15 - TERMINATION
Your license automatically terminates if you materially violate these Terms.
After termination, you must stop using the product and delete all copies in your possession or control. Termination does not limit any other rights or remedies available to Finish Line Build Systems.
16 - VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS AND THIRD-PARTY MARKS
Finish Line Build Systems is an independent business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer, parts manufacturer, software company, or other third party unless expressly stated.
Third-party trademarks, product names, and vehicle names belong to their respective owners and may be used only for identification or descriptive purposes.
17 - CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, business practices, legal obligations, or services.
The version posted when you purchase a product will generally apply to that purchase. Continued use after being notified of a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
18 - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to these Terms or an FLBS product will be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in New Hampshire.
Mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence continue to apply where they cannot legally be waived.
19 - SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The invalid provision will be limited or modified only as necessary to make it enforceable.
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
20 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, the applicable product listing, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and any written license or promotion expressly provided with the product constitute the agreement between you and Finish Line Build Systems concerning the product.
If a product listing expressly provides a different license or term, that product-specific term controls for that product.
