In the Future Me programme, spiritual development isn’t an add-on. It’s woven through every experience, using a consistent approach and shared language that helps children reflect on their own flourishing and identity.
We do this through four simple lenses:

- Children explore their unique identity and begin to believe that they have worth and purpose, just as they are.
- Others – Seeing the beauty and worth in others.
- They learn to appreciate difference, build empathy, and recognise the value in every person they meet.
- World and Beauty – Protecting and appreciating the world around me.
- Whether it’s noticing the small wonders of nature or considering how their choices impact the planet, children grow in awe, responsibility, and gratitude.
- Beyond – Reflecting on meaning, mystery, and purpose beyond myself.
- This is where children explore the bigger questions — the things that can’t always be answered but are worth wondering about.
Through these lenses, pupils develop a deeper sense of belonging, responsibility, and hope — strengthening the emotional and moral foundations of their future selves.
