How to Use Groovelates as a Warm-Up or Finisher in Your Classes

If you already teach Pilates, fitness, or group exercise, you don’t need to dedicate a whole hour to Groovelates to feel the benefits. In fact, many instructors use it as a way to add fun, variety, and energy to their existing sessions.

💃 As a Warm-Up

A short Groovelates track is a fantastic way to break the ice, lift energy, and get bodies moving before a strength, Pilates, or cardio class. The music helps participants switch off from their day, while the movements gently mobilise joints and elevate heart rates—without feeling like a drill.

As a Finisher

End your class on a high with a 5–10 minute Groovelates groove. It leaves people smiling, sweaty in the best way, and more likely to remember your class as fun and uplifting. That final burst of movement also helps clients leave with a mental “reset,” boosting mood as well as fitness.

👉 Why it works:

  • It blends seamlessly into other formats.
  • It keeps classes fresh without adding to your prep time.
  • It makes you stand out—members get a unique mix they can’t find elsewhere.

So whether you’re short on time, looking to inject some sparkle, or simply want to keep your classes feeling fresh, Groovelates can be your go-to tool for building energy and connection.
