I made the original Mobile Maker Transforming Tactical Project Vest/Bag as a one-off 2025 Christmas gift for my daughter -– never dreaming there would ever be a second.

When Bayla shared her gift on Instagram, hundreds of makers urged me to share instructions, however rough they

might be.

This document is my answer to that call. I’m not a pattern designer but I’ve done my best to share my process in hopes that experienced makers around our globe can happily take their making on the road.
