I’d love to hear from you!
Whether you’re enquiring about an author visit, classroom connection, library event, or simply want to share how young readers are enjoying The Sugarcane Harvester Song, you’re warmly welcome to get in touch.
Author Visits & Events
I offer engaging storytime visits for libraries, childcare centres, playgroups, and community events. Sessions feature a lively sing-along reading of The Sugarcane Harvester Song, plus a fun conversation about farms, big machines, and how food is grown.
Storytime sessions typically run for around 30 minutes and are designed for young audiences aged 2–6.
Fees start from $160 per session, with discounted rates available when presenting to multiple groups during the same visit.
Sessions are designed to be lively, interactive, and suitable for young attention spans, and can easily be repeated for multiple groups during the same visit.
If permitted by the venue, I'm happy to bring a small number of books for families and sign copies after the session.

Author & Reader Mail
Classrooms, playgroups, and families are welcome to send:
- student artwork
- questions about farming or writing
- photos of classroom activities
- letters from young readers
You can also send in your child’s questions for our blog series, Malcolm Asks… Farmers Answer, where real farmers respond to curious kids.
I love seeing how children connect with Malcolm and Maggie’s adventures!
