H.S.S. provides instructor-led AHA training and eligible blended-learning hands-on skills sessions for workplaces, organizations, and small groups in Northwest Indiana. Course type, participant needs, location, scheduling, and certification requirements are confirmed before registration or payment.

FULL INSTRUCTOR-LED CLASS SIZE
Minimum class size is 6 participants. Maximum class size with one H.S.S. instructor is 9 participants. For AHA BLS Provider Renewal / Recertification, groups under 6 are charged the $474 minimum full-class charge unless specifically approved otherwise. For other instructor-led classes, groups under 6 are charged the equivalent 6-participant minimum unless specifically approved otherwise. More than 9 students will not be advertised or scheduled with one instructor unless H.S.S. has approved the necessary additional instructor and equipment resources.
REQUIRED STUDENT MATERIALS — PROVIDED OR PURCHASED SEPARATELY
Required current American Heart Association student course materials/book/eBook must be provided or purchased separately by each participant and are not included in the H.S.S. course price. This applies to instructor-led AHA BLS initial and renewal/recertification, Heartsaver CPR/AED, Heartsaver First Aid, and Heartsaver First Aid + CPR/AED.
TRAVEL, LODGING, AND FACILITY/RENTAL COSTS
Approved pricing covers instruction under normal local conditions with customer-provided suitable training space. Any required travel, lodging, or H.S.S.-arranged facility/room or equipment rental costs are not included in the per-participant rates and will be quoted separately and approved in writing before scheduling or payment.
BLENDED-LEARNING SKILLS SESSIONS
Required AHA online course is purchased and completed separately before the H.S.S. hands-on skills session. Participants must provide proof of successful completion of the appropriate online course before attending.
CERTIFICATION / ECARD
Where applicable, the appropriate AHA certification/eCard is provided following successful completion through the applicable H.S.S./AHA Training Center process.

H.S.S. is based in La Porte, Indiana and serves organizations in Northwest Indiana, including La Porte, Michigan City, Valparaiso, Portage, and Chesterton, subject to scheduling and travel requirements.

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees for an AHA course are set and charged solely by the applicable Training Center or Training Site and are not charged by the AHA.
