For the past 15+ years, I've been deeply involved in the world of competitive hockey, from early morning practices to late-night road trips across states. My youngest son has played at the elite AAA level & currently Juniors, and like many parents, I had to learn the hard way how the system works — tryouts, politics, training, showcases, and the financial balancing act.
