Who Are the Inner Guides?

The Inner Guides are symbolic parts of you and each representing a mindset, strength, or coping style shaped by your life experiences. Learning their voices helps you understand how you show up in the world and where your healing is ready to unfold.

Through the Inner Guides Series, you’ll meet your inner parts: Blaze, Gaia, Ora, Vee, Lex, Nico, Cash, Nova, and Eden- each reflecting a different side of you.

The Inner Guides Self-Assessment

Discover the Parts of You That Lead, Protect, and Heal

We are made up of many parts: the doer, the planner, the empath, the dreamer, and even the tender child within. Each one carries its own wisdom, motivation, and memory. The Inner Guides Self-Assessment is a reflective tool designed to help you recognize which parts of you are most active right now, and which ones may be waiting quietly beneath the surface.

Rooted in parts work and holistic psychology, this self-assessment invites you to explore your internal world with curiosity, not judgment. By identifying your Dominant, Balanced, Dormant, and Exiled Guides, you’ll begin to understand how different aspects of your personality show up in everyday life- how they protect you, limit you, or guide you toward balance and healing.

✳️ What This Assessment Is For

This tool helps you:

  • Identify the patterns, strengths, and protective roles of your nine Inner Guides
  • Gain insight into which parts are overactive and which might need nurturing or reintegration.
  • Develop language and awareness to deepen self-understanding, self-compassion, and emotional regulation.
  • Create a foundation for personal growth, mindfulness, or therapy work, especially if you’re learning to balance drive, sensitivity, and self-trust.

🪞 How to Use Your Results

  1. Complete the self-assessment: Reflect on each statement honestly and record your scores.
  2. Calculate your totals: For each Inner Guide, add up your points to determine where they fall: Dominant, Balanced, Dormant, or Exiled.
  3. Review your results: Notice which Guides take the lead and which have gone quiet. Dominant Guides often point to how you protect yourself. Dormant or Exiled Guides may highlight the parts of you longing for care or creative expression.
  4. Integrate what you’ve learned: Use your results as a mirror, not a label. Awareness is the first step toward inner harmony.

🌸 Continue Your Journey

Once you’ve completed the assessment, explore the Inner Guides Workbook Series to go deeper with your results. Each workbook offers practical tools, journaling prompts, and guided reflections to help you bring your Inner Guides into balance so every part of you can move together in wholeness.

🧩 What is Parts Work?

Parts Work is a compassionate and holistic approach to healing built on one truth: you are made of many parts, not just one.

Each part carries her own story, born from emotion, experience, and the need to protect you. Healing begins when you stop fighting these voices and start listening to them. When you give every part space to speak and soften, balance returns, allowing you to and come home to yourself.
