​ISABELLE RYDER is a British award-winning classical/jazz composer, published by Oxford University Press. Previously an earthquake researcher, she is now a Visiting Professional in Piano at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

She has a deep urge to re-imagine through music the sights, sounds and processes that she witnessed on her field trips across the world. Steeped in the Anglican tradition growing up, she also writes choral and organ music, which is performed in cathedrals, churches and chapels worldwide. ​
