I mainly stick too historical fiction, fantasy, and horror but I am completely open to exploring other genres!
I've been writing since I was a kid, but they weren't really stories just pirate comics and magic knick knacks haha. I've always enjoyed entertaining people, telling a rich and great story. There is just something so fulfilling about creating your own world and characters, it is something so magical to me. To be able to sit down and build it from the ground up, all in your mind, and turn just a few words into sentences, then paragraphs, then pages, then into this whole universe is satisfying. I was quite the book worm as a boy and read a lot of novels like the GooseBump series, Rick Rordian, and James Reasoner. My Father got me into historical fiction when I was a teen, and have loved it since then. I've always have been fond of history. I don't want to forget it. Reminds me where I come from. That people back in those eras, where human like me and felt the same things we do today: love and guilt, anger and sadness, fear and hope, joy and loyalty. Yes, perhaps they thought differently of course, but if I met a man in 1809 from England, he is my brother, my blood and I'd greet him with a smile. The things people did back then advanced our way of living from small to big. I respect that, so why not cherish those times and make something special of it? I figured why not tell stories of the past, but also make some whimsical and magical along the way! I used to study film in LA during my college years, but gave up on that to pursue writing novels, because it is what brings true happiness into my life. I breathe it.
Well not by my number of course lol! But yes, you can email jackbuiesbooks@gmail.com for questions about orders, books, concerns, or anything really. I'm open most of the time and willing to answer everything I can! Also, on the contact page you can send me messages!
Simple. I love the fashion. I love ships. I love the muskets and swords. I love the way people talked back then. I love carriages. It was the Age of Sail and the globe was being heavily explored during that time, there was so much to discover and invent. It's just a beautiful era to me. Plus, the coats and felt hats are to die for!
Black, good sir.

A Brown Bess musket rifle from 1722, its real, no joke.
In the future yes there will be with hired voice actors!
Yes! There are characters in different books I've written like my girlfriend, friends, sister, my Mother and Father! Even my pets have made an appearance!
I've thought about it, so possibly.
Depends. I'll sometimes write everyday for a week straight or take three weeks off for a break. But in a day when I have free time, anywhere from 1 to 5 hours.
About 20 short stories, but their in a collection of a single book, up to ten books, and one poem.
It's boring to me. Not interested and its hard to write it, roughly from the 1940s to now. Too much correction and facts you gotta check. The most modern time period I'll probably write is up to the 1930s.
Atheist bro.
Yes, or I am trying too. Marcel Proust wrote a book called Remembrance of Things past in 1913, with 4,125 pages. I am beating that with this one.
Read my blogs. They will be updated every so often when I write new books.
Morning. The fog. The cold air. The sweet shining sun. A good cup of coffee. The birds chirping. The sway of the forest trees. Majestic.
Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
Black Butler.
I like most music, but I stick too sea shanties, fantasy, medieval, classical, indie, some rock, metal.
Yes. Use the contact page and message box. I'll check it from time to time if I am not snoring with a open book over my nose.
A good strong cup of joe and a daring tale.
Hate them. Boringggg.

Yes! You can! It will be similar to physical drawn art, and will be featured on the Fan Art Gallery page, whenever I receive new content!
In honor of him. All in all, I felt this story needed to be told. Darwin was an asshole, who took advantage of people for his own fortune and fame. Finn Jared Fitzroy is the true hero to me. Simply put, he was duped. He was given the short end of the stick. He did not at all deserve how he was treated. He was a good man to himself, his friends, his wife, his family. And sadly he has been erased embarrisingyly from history. But not to me. I will remember him for who he was and the man he strove to be. I felt like this was too a beautiful tale to remain etched in the ancient stones of time. The amazing men that prevailed on this journey is quite, unimaginable. So, let it be known, that Captain Finn Fitzroy did all these things. He deserves the credit. I am telling this tale in honor in a great name and legendary man and mariner, this seafarer. I don’t want to forget him. Writing this character was difficult and hard, and extremely emotional because I feel an odd connection to him. Like we were wayward souls destined to meet in another world. It needs to be justified. It needs to be foretold. I will always remember him, he will stick with me like when gum sticks to the end of your shoe. To remember the great things he did, what he discovered and contributed to the world in advancement. Spread the word of Captain Finn Fitzroy. Of his tremendous journey. It makes me sad to hear how he ended his life, and I have a lot of pity for this person. He deserves to be known.
