What is this Payhip thing?

Payhip is an e-commerce site that allows creative types to sell their digital wares directly to customers. They take a small fee from me in exchange for handling the complicated stuff like payments, EU VAT rules, delivering files, and so on. You can find out more here.

Why should I buy your books from Payhip?

Because it’s not Amazon! But seriously, this is a great way to support me directly because I make more per purchase than through Amazon. Payhip takes a small fee, and so does PayPal, but I get to keep the rest and it turns up more or less instantly. With Amazon, I have to wait 2 months for payments and they take a bigger cut of your cash.

Also, Amazon Kindle is a subscription service so when you buy a Kindle book, you don’t own it – you’re just renting it. When you buy from Payhip, you get to keep the files you download – neither me nor Payhip will delete them from your device.

How does it work?

Choose what you would like to purchase and add to your cart, or click ‘Buy Now’ if you only want one thing. Checkout when you’re ready and you’ll be asked for your email address for the downloads. After payment you can download your purchases from a link on screen – there may be a choice of files and you can download any or all of them, PDF and/or EPUB.

Don’t worry if you miss the link on Payhip. You’ll also receive an email with the download links – so don’t panic!

Do I need a PayPal account to buy books from you?

No – you can enter your payment details without a PayPal account. Simply use a debit or credit card at the secure checkout.

Where can I read EPUBs?

EPUB files are readable on any generic e-reader, as well as on Apple Books and devices like Kobo, and Nook. Check with the manufacturer of your device for instructions on how to send a file. There are also EPUB readers available online. Or you can use Calibre – a great tool for managing e-books and converting files to other formats. I use it to create my EPUBS!

PDFs can be read on most devices and opened in Apple Books, Kindle, Kobo, and Nook.

Do you sell paperbacks?

Yes! You can get paperback versions of most of my books on Amazon.

Can I get your books in a 'proper' bookshop?

Unfortunately not. As a self-published author, my books are only available online.

I hate your book and want a refund!
