Art is the most honest thing I can do.
I came very late to the visual arts, having spent somewhere around 20 odd years in higher education. I didn't learn to draw until I was in my late 30's; in my early 40's I realized that I was only happy when I was making art, and it's all I wanted to do.
I love art: talking about it, looking at it, thinking about it, and especially making and sharing it. And I'm a firm believer that anyone can make art that is deep, personal, and beautiful.

My dream is to make a living as an artist. With the amazing support of my wife and four kids (along with two indifferent cats), I'm diving into the world of watercolors and oils, determined to learn the craft and business of art.
