Refund & Returns Policy

I want you to shop with confidence. My goal is for every reader to have a great experience with the Kyndra Hatch Author Store.

Because I offer both digital downloads and physical products, the refund and return policies differ depending on what you purchase.

If you ever have a problem with your order, please contact me. I'll always do my best to resolve legitimate issues fairly.

Digital Products

Digital products include ebooks and other downloadable content.

Because digital products are available immediately after purchase, they generally cannot be returned or refunded once the download has been delivered.

Refunds may be considered in situations such as:

  • Duplicate purchases made by mistake
  • Technical problems preventing access to your purchase
  • Receiving the wrong digital product
  • Other circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law

European Union Customers

If you purchase digital content while located in the European Union or another jurisdiction with similar consumer protection laws, you may be asked during checkout to consent to immediate access to your digital purchase.

By requesting immediate access, you acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal may end once the download begins, as permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.



Physical Products

Physical products include paperbacks, signed books, merchandise, and other shipped items.

If your order arrives:

  • damaged,
  • defective,
  • or you receive the wrong item,

please contact me within 14 days of delivery.

Whenever possible, include:

  • your order number,
  • a description of the issue,
  • and photographs showing the damage or incorrect item.

This helps me resolve your request as quickly as possible.

Depending on the situation, I may provide:

  • a replacement,
  • a refund,
  • store credit,
  • or another appropriate solution.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Because many products are printed or prepared specifically for each order, I generally do not accept returns for:

  • change of mind,
  • ordering the wrong item,
  • accidental purchases of physical products,
  • or incorrect shipping information provided during checkout.

If you believe special circumstances apply, please contact me and I'll review your request.



Lost Packages

If your tracking information shows that your package has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact me.

I'll work with you to determine the best solution, which may include contacting the shipping carrier or arranging a replacement where appropriate.



Incorrect Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.

If an incorrect address is provided, additional shipping charges may apply if the package must be resent.

If you notice an address error immediately after placing your order, contact me as soon as possible. If the order has not yet shipped, I may be able to update the address.



Cancellations

Digital orders cannot usually be cancelled once access has been provided.

Physical orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet entered production or shipping.

Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.
