1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or accessing any product from Lab Foundations, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not complete your purchase.

2. Products and Delivery

All products are digital PDF guides delivered instantly via download link upon purchase, processed through Payhip and its payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, or other supported methods). No physical items are shipped.

3. License Grant

Purchasing a product grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the guide for your own laboratory setup and management purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, share, or post the content publicly or to any third party, in whole or in part. This guide is licensed "For PI Use Only — Not for Distribution," as stated on every page of the document itself.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, text, frameworks, checklists, and designs within these guides are the copyrighted work of Philip Habashy. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights — only the limited license described in Section 3.

5. Not Legal or Regulatory Advice

These guides are practical reference materials grounded in publicly available Canadian legislation and biosafety standards. They do not constitute legal advice, regulatory approval, or institutional authorization, and are not a substitute for guidance from your institution's EHS office, Research Safety Committee, or legal counsel. Philip Habashy assumes no liability for regulatory non-compliance, safety incidents, or any other outcomes arising from use of this material.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, available at checkout and on our store.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lab Foundations and Philip Habashy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use these products.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
