A Journey
The love of the natural landscape was developed as a young boy, whilst sitting at the rear side window of the family car, on the never-ending road to a holiday destination, gazing at the outside patterns and textures along the way.
In the days of film, countless hours were spent in a chemical-filled darkroom, making enlargements in both colour and in black and white.
However, I was fortunate to join the digital revolution, at it’s inception here, way back in 1994, which opened up a whole new method of doing the same thing – photography, but with many new and exciting options.
Now, I have the choice of whichever quiet dirt road I would like to leisurely explore, on the never-ending quest of finding that elusive “perfect shot’’. And what fun it is!
The stillness of the outdoors prompts one to become more right brain oriented (creative, artistic, imaginative), enabling one to switch from just 'looking', to being awakened to creatively ‘seeing’ what gems the landscape has on offer.
With this vision in mind I have a created a collection of Landscape FineArt images, in both Colour and Black & White.
