FAQ
Do I need Excel?
No. The files were tested in Google Sheets and LibreOffice. They are standard .xlsx files that should also open in Excel.
How do I open a file in Google Sheets?
Open Google Drive or Sheets, choose File > Import > Upload, pick the downloaded .xlsx file, then choose Replace spreadsheet or Insert new sheet(s).
Is this tax, legal or financial advice?
No. These are organizing tools. They do not tell you what is deductible or what mileage rate to use. You enter the rate you choose and can share your totals with a tax preparer.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is yours and stays wherever you keep it. Please keep client-identifying details out of it (use job reference numbers) and check your agency contracts.
What is the difference between the free tracker and the Interpreter Business Kit?
The free tracker is a simple assignment log with earnings and mileage totals. The kit adds client rates and minimum-block billing, printable invoices, unpaid-invoice aging, a full mileage log, expense tracking and monthly and quarterly summaries.
Can I share a file?
Files are licensed for one person's own records. Please send colleagues to the free tracker.
