I'm Lou Jones, a British writer of lyrics, stage plays and screen plays.

I specialise in lyrics for most genres of songs and also for musical theatre and write scripts for stage and screen.

I'm also experienced as an English and drama teacher, theatre stage manager, stage actress and studio voice actress.

I have written over 100 songs in various genres with many composers and have several international top ten awards for my songs including a semi finalist position in the UK Songwriting Competition. 

I have also written songs for musical theatre directors in the USA, a film maker in the USA, and a book publisher in the UK as well as my own 19 song musical theatre show, Sea Shanty Shanti.
