Refund & Withdrawal Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Overview
This Refund & Withdrawal Policy applies to all digital products purchased from My Digital Story, a brand operated by MDS Growth Advisory Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus.
Our products include downloadable ebooks, AI marketing toolkits, prompt libraries, marketing templates, workbooks, professional guides and other digital educational resources.
Due to the downloadable nature of our products, we do not offer voluntary refunds once digital content has been supplied and the applicable statutory right of withdrawal has validly ended.
This Policy explains our refund conditions, your statutory consumer rights and the process for requesting assistance.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits rights provided by applicable consumer protection law.
2. Digital Product Delivery
All products sold through our store are delivered electronically. No physical products are shipped unless expressly stated otherwise.
Following successful payment, customers are normally provided with access to their purchased digital content through Payhip.
Delivery may take place through a download page, purchase confirmation email or another electronic method specified during checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate email address when placing an order.
If you experience a problem receiving or accessing your product, please contact info@mydigitalstory.net so that we can investigate and assist you.
3. Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing digital products online may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract, without providing a reason.
For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost once supply of the content begins, provided that all applicable legal requirements have been fulfilled.
These requirements generally include:
- The consumer's prior express consent for supply of the digital content to begin before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
- The consumer's acknowledgement that they will lose their statutory right of withdrawal when supply begins.
- The legally required confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement.
Where these conditions are not fulfilled, the applicable statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.
The fact that a product is digital or that payment has been completed does not, by itself, remove the statutory right of withdrawal.
4. Refund Policy for Downloaded Digital Products
All sales are final once digital content has been supplied and the applicable statutory right of withdrawal has validly ended.
We do not offer voluntary refunds for:
- Change of mind after purchasing or downloading a product.
- Deciding that the purchased resource is no longer needed.
- Failure to read, use or complete the purchased material.
- Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preferences or expectations not forming part of the contractual product description.
- Failure to achieve a particular business, marketing or financial result.
- Purchasing a product without reviewing its description or stated requirements.
- Changes to third-party AI tools, software platforms or marketing services outside our control, provided the purchased content otherwise conforms to the contract.
Refund requests will be assessed against applicable consumer protection law and the circumstances of the purchase.
This policy does not affect statutory withdrawal rights or legal remedies for digital content that is defective, inaccessible, incorrectly supplied or not in conformity with the contract.
5. Defective, Inaccessible or Incorrect Digital Products
We take reasonable care to ensure that our digital products are accurately described and delivered in a usable format.
If a purchased product is defective, inaccessible or does not conform to the contract, please contact us.
Examples may include:
- A corrupted or unreadable PDF or other digital file.
- A download link that does not function.
- Delivery of an incorrect product.
- Materially missing content that was expressly included in the product description.
- Other significant issues affecting the product's contractual conformity.
Where appropriate, we will seek to resolve the issue by restoring access, providing a working file or bringing the content into conformity with the contract.
Where required by applicable law, customers may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract and reimbursement.
Mandatory consumer remedies remain available regardless of whether the statutory withdrawal right has validly ended.
6. How to Request a Refund or Exercise Withdrawal Rights
If you believe that you are entitled to a statutory refund, wish to exercise an available right of withdrawal or need assistance with your purchase, please contact:
Email: info@mydigitalstory.net
Where available, include:
- Your full name.
- Your order number.
- The email address used when purchasing.
- The name of the digital product.
- A description of the problem or request.
Where you are exercising a statutory withdrawal right, a clear statement of your decision to withdraw is sufficient. You are not required to provide a reason.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify your order or investigate a technical problem.
Requests will be assessed fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
7. Optional Withdrawal Form
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, you may use the following form to notify us of your decision.
Using this form is optional.

8. Refund Processing
Where a refund is required under applicable law, we will process it in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements.
For a valid statutory withdrawal, reimbursement will normally be made without undue delay and within 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal, subject to applicable law.
Unless otherwise lawfully agreed, refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
We do not charge customers an additional processing fee for refunds required by law.
Depending on the payment provider and financial institution, the refunded amount may take additional time to appear in the customer's account.
9. Professional and Business Purchases
Certain statutory withdrawal rights apply specifically to consumers and may not apply to purchases made for business or professional purposes.
Purchases by companies, agencies, consultants or other professionals may therefore be subject to different legal rules.
However, professional customers retain any rights available under applicable law and the terms of their contract.
We will assess requests according to the relevant circumstances and legal requirements.
10. AI Tools and Third-Party Platforms
Some My Digital Story products provide information, prompts, frameworks and workflows for third-party AI tools and marketing platforms.
Third-party providers may change their products, pricing, features, availability, interfaces and terms of service without notice.
Such changes do not automatically entitle a customer to a refund.
However, this provision does not limit statutory remedies where the purchased digital content fails to conform to its description or applicable contractual requirements.
Our resources are educational and practical in nature and do not guarantee specific marketing, sales, advertising or financial outcomes.
11. Misuse, Unauthorised Distribution and Intellectual Property
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property.
Unless expressly authorised, customers may not resell, redistribute or publicly share the purchased files or present them as their own digital products.
Suspected unauthorised distribution may be investigated and addressed in accordance with applicable law and our Terms & Conditions.
This provision does not affect a customer's statutory consumer rights, including any applicable entitlement to a refund.
