Refund Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Refund Policy applies to all ebooks and digital products purchased from MM CodeLab through the Payhip platform.
1. General rule: all sales are final
Due to the nature of our products — digital files delivered with immediate access and download after purchase — all sales are final and non-refundable, except in the specific situations described in section 2.
By making a purchase, the customer expressly requests the immediate start of the supply of the digital content and acknowledges that, once access to the download is made available, they lose the right of withdrawal (14-day period) provided by law for distance purchases.
2. Exceptions — when we consider a refund
We may, at our discretion, offer a refund or replacement in the following cases:
- Billing error: you were charged more than once for the same product, or the amount charged is incorrect;
- Corrupted or non-functional file: the ebook you downloaded is damaged, incomplete, or does not open correctly, and it was not possible to resolve the problem through our support;
- Wrong product: a file different from the one you purchased was delivered, due to an error on our part.
Outside these situations — for example, change of mind, accidental purchase, or dissatisfaction with the content — we cannot process a refund, precisely because access to the file was made available at the time of purchase.
3. How to request a refund (in eligible situations)
If your situation falls under one of the exceptions above, contact us within 7 days of purchase at mmcodelab@gmail.com, stating:
- The order number or the email used for the purchase;
- A description of the problem (e.g. a screenshot of the error, corrupted file, duplicate charge).
4. Processing the refund
After your request has been reviewed and approved, the refund will be processed through the same payment method used for the original purchase (via Payhip and the respective payment processor), normally within 5 to 10 business days. Please note that the exact time may vary depending on the payment processor.
If the refund request is declined because it does not fall under any of the exceptions in section 2, we will explain the reason for the refusal.
5. Payment disputes (chargebacks)
We ask that, before opening a dispute with your bank or payment processor, you contact us directly — the vast majority of problems are resolved quickly by email. Unfounded payment disputes relating to products that have already been successfully downloaded will be contested with the payment processor, on the basis of this policy, accepted at the time of purchase.
