Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the MM CodeLab store and the purchase of our ebooks, made available through the Payhip platform. By making a purchase in our store, the customer accepts these terms in full.


1. Who we are

2. Our products

We sell digital ebooks about programming and software. All products are delivered in digital format (download); no physical product is shipped.


3. Purchase and payment

Purchases are processed through Payhip and the payment processors it makes available. The prices shown in the store include, where applicable, the taxes legally due. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, without affecting orders already completed.


4. Delivery of digital content

After payment is confirmed, access to the ebook is made available immediately through a download link sent by email and/or available on the Payhip order page. It is the customer's responsibility to check that the email address provided at checkout is correct.


5. Intellectual property rights and licence

All content of the ebooks (text, code examples, images and associated materials) is the property of MM CodeLab or its licensors, and is protected by copyright.

By buying an ebook, the customer is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

  • Use the ebook for personal and/or learning purposes;
  • Use the code examples included in their own projects, personal or commercial.

This licence does not allow the customer to:

  • Resell, redistribute, share or publish the ebook, in whole or in part, in any format;
  • Make the file available to third parties, free of charge or for payment;
  • Use the content of the ebook to create a competing product (e.g. another ebook, course, or training material substantially based on our content).

6. Disclaimer regarding technical content

The ebooks and code examples are provided "as is", for educational purposes. We do not guarantee that the code is free of errors, suitable for a specific purpose, or safe for production use without the customer's own review. MM CodeLab is not liable for any damages, losses or harm resulting from the use of the content or code provided.


7. Content updates

We may revise or update the content of the ebooks from time to time.


8. Refunds and right of withdrawal

The refund conditions are described in our Refund Policy. By making the purchase and requesting immediate access to the digital content, the customer acknowledges that, except for the exceptions set out in that policy, they lose the 14-day right of withdrawal provided by law for distance purchases.


9. Data protection

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.


10. Minimum age

By making a purchase, the customer declares that they have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under the applicable law.


11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MM CodeLab's liability to the customer is limited to the amount actually paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or losses resulting from temporary unavailability of the Payhip platform.


12. Dispute resolution

In the event of a complaint, the customer may contact us directly at mmcodelab@gmail.com so that we can seek an amicable resolution.


13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For consumers resident in other European Union countries, the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence remain applicable, in accordance with European law.


14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in force is always the one published in our store at the date of purchase.
