I earned my PhD in clinical nutrition in 2016 from the National university of Malaysia. Im working as lecturer (assistant professor) in Nutrition and food technology department at An-Najah National University at Faculty of Agriculture and vet medicine, in both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs
I managed to publish several research papers in international journals, and
participated in many conferences (local and international conferences)
Research interest
- Older adults health (Gerontology) with main focus on cognitive function and its relationship with nutrition and diet.
- Development and improvement of databases and resources about Palestinian Food, such as Palestinian food composition tables, to be used as tools in research and educational program
- Development of educational books and publications in Arabic language adapting Palestinian food culture, Concern about the dietary management of chronic diseases such as Diabetes, GI diseases and kidney diseases to provide trusted and reliable references for the patients and health workers.
- Using new technological method ( smartphone Apps and websites) in dietary assessment and dietary education to enhance the practices and improve the knowledge related to nutrition field
