About Me

Astrid approaches yoga as a holistic practice for mental, physical, and emotional well-being, creating a supportive and intentional space for students of all levels.

A dedicated practitioner with over a decade of experience, Astrid holds a 500-hour RYT certification, a Yoga Nidra certification, and more than 300 hours of continuing education. She is currently pursuing additional training in somatic practices and massage therapy, deepening her understanding of the mind-body connection and therapeutic approaches to healing.

Her teaching integrates movement, breathwork, meditation, restorative practices, and sound to support nervous system regulation and cultivate greater presence, resilience, and well-being. Classes often incorporate sound as a meditative tool, offering a gentle invitation to slow down, reconnect, and rest.

With a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Astrid values the power of language and uses intentional, mindful cueing to help students deepen their connection to the body and cultivate inner awareness.

Astrid’s personal yoga journey has been one of profound healing, supporting her recovery from injuries sustained during military service. Through yoga, meditation, restorative practices, and Yoga Nidra, she discovered tools that helped her reconnect with herself during challenging seasons of life. Today, she is passionate about sharing practices that support students both on and off the mat, creating opportunities for greater balance, self-awareness, and embodied living.
