Hi, I'm Natalie, the artist and educator behind Miss Squiggles Face Painting.

I’m a proud mum of two energetic little boys, a trained teacher, and someone who believes deeply in the magic that creative experiences can bring to children and families.

Originally from New Zealand, my creative journey began in classrooms and schools, where I studied art and design throughout both secondary and tertiary education. Years later, when I discovered face painting, everything clicked. It brought together my love of art, teaching, and creating joyful moments for others.

What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into something much bigger. Through my work at events, teaching workshops, and mentoring newer painters, I’ve become passionate about helping raise the professional standard of face painting and children’s entertainment.

This industry is filled with incredibly talented artists, and I believe that when we combine our creativity with strong professional practices, clear communication, and thoughtful presentation, we elevate not only our own businesses but the reputation of the entire industry.

Alongside my event work, I now share practical resources, tools, and insights designed to help face painters and entertainers build more confident, professional businesses. My goal is not only to create beautiful face painting designs, but also to help others feel empowered in their skills, their communication, and the way they show up for their clients.

Whether I’m painting butterflies at a birthday party, teaching a new design in a workshop, or sharing the small systems that help creative businesses thrive, I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a colourful and supportive community.
