About Me
Hi, I’m Ed, the coach behind Moore Fitness.
Sport and training have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent over 20 years competing in BMX racing, eventually reaching the highest level of the sport, representing Great Britain internationally, winning a European bronze medal and two British national titles.
I also have a qualification in Sports Science, and I’ve always been fascinated by the science behind performance — particularly strength & conditioning, programming and periodisation.
Throughout my career, I became obsessed with understanding how to structure my own training. I developed, adapted and used these training systems over the years to coach myself without a dedicated strength coach, while competing at the highest level of BMX racing.
That approach helped me build serious strength while still remaining lean, powerful and athletic. At my strongest, I achieved:
240kg Squat
165kg Bench Press
260kg Deadlift
665kg Lifting Total
But for me, training has never just been about lifting the biggest number possible. Everything had to translate into athletic performance — strength, power, explosiveness, conditioning and the ability to perform when it mattered.
Today, coaching and programming are what I’m genuinely passionate about. Moore Fitness is my way of taking everything I’ve learned through more than two decades of elite sport, Sports Science and years of developing my own training, and using it to help other people achieve their goals.
The programmes you’ll find here aren’t something I’ve simply put together to sell online. They’re built from training methods and systems I’ve developed, tested and actually used myself throughout my sporting career.
Whether your goal is to get stronger, build muscle, improve your athletic performance or simply have a properly structured programme to follow, I want to give you the tools and structure to get there.
Train with purpose. Get stronger. Perform better.
