As per GSPR regulations, our contact details and details of our EU representative will be included with every parcel that is exported to the EU and Northern Ireland.

Due to the nature of the products we sell here at NH Patterns, we are unable to directly label the products sent out, so we will include an invoice/packing slip with details of the products.

A product recall system is in place.

We have labelled any high risk products such as dressmaking shears with safety warnings, these warnings will be translated into the language of the country the item(s) is being sent to 

We have performed a risk assessment on our products, and will continue to do so on any new product types 

In EU and NI packages, an invoice will be provided with safety information relating to the products you have ordered, translated from English into the language of the country the product is being shipped too. Please see below for safety warnings:

Fabric and Flammabilty warning: We have not tested our fabrics for flammability. Please keep fabrics away from open flames or heat sources.

Product usage warning: Our products are to be used for dressmaking purposes and we advise against any other use. We do not advise for our fabrics to be used for high risk applications such as uniforms, upholstery, or childrenswear.

Blade warning: Some haberdashery items such as scissors, pins and needles may be sharp. Handle with care and keep sharp items away from children, vulnerable adults and animals. Only to be used by adults 18 years and over.

Choking hazard warning: Ensure any small parts including but not limited to: labels, small pieces of fabric, needles, pins, beads and sequins, buttons, hooks and eyes & thread are kept away from children, vulnerable adults and animals. Small parts could result in choking. 

Digital virus warning: For our digital files, we have an antivirus software in place on all computers used to develop and share the patterns.

Flammability warning: Please keep all paper patterns away from open flames or heat sources.

Strangulation warning - Elastic, cords, trim and bias binding. Always keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults. 

Strangulation and suffocation warning: Fabrics can pose a risk of suffocation and strangulation, please keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults.

Allergy warning: Fabrics can pose an allergy risk due to certain fibres being used within the fabric, for example, wool. Fabric composition will always be clearly labelled in the product description.
