Most guidance written for a crisis is produced by someone selling you a different thing — a service, a subscription, a consultation. This does one job: it tells you what to do, in what order, and what not to do yet.
I started with settling a parent's estate, because it's the thing almost everyone faces eventually and almost nobody is prepared for. More are coming, built the same way — researched carefully, written calmly, and clear about where a workbook's usefulness ends and a professional's begins.
Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice, and every product says so plainly. Knowing when to call someone is part of doing these jobs well, not a failure to manage alone.
