About Me
About Okla Falama
Okla Falama means “the living people” in the Choctaw language.
The name speaks to continuity—to a people who endured erasure, renaming, displacement, and silence, yet remained.
This brand was created with love for our true indigenous culture, from lived lineage, and not borrowed identity.
From ancestral memory, not reinterpretation or reclassification,.
Okla Falama honors Choctaw continuity as it exists today—through the people who adapted, survived, and continue to create.
A Living House, Not a Trend
Okla Falama is not a fashion label.
It is a regalia house.
Our work exists at the intersection of:
- ancestral memory
- matriarchal authority
- sacred craftsmanship
- present-day embodiment
Each piece is made with care, restraint, and responsibility.
Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is diluted.
Nothing is created without purpose.
Why Regalia
Regalia is not costume.
It is not aesthetic.
Regalia is identity made visible.
It is authority made wearable.
It is memory carried forward through the body.
Our pieces are meant to be worn in ceremony, in power, in daily life,
and in moments that matter.
Integrity & Responsibility
We do not debate existence.
We do not perform identity.
We do not educate skeptics.
We create from truth,
and allow the work to speak from our ancestors through us.
Okla Falama is for we -the true living indigenous people of this land.
For those who remember our fight.
For those who carry lineage forward with intention.
This is not revival.
This is continuation of what was already ours.
