About OURSTORY PUBLISHING™

OURSTORY PUBLISHING™ is an independent Black-centered publishing and educational creative house dedicated to creating materials where Black children, families, educators, and communities can see themselves, their histories, and their possibilities reflected with intention.

A branch of TimBOOKtu Enterprises, OURSTORY PUBLISHING™ is home to OURSTORY MAGAZINE™, the Teacher Angela’s OURSTORY Classroom children’s book series, and a growing collection of culturally affirming educational resources.

Our publications and learning materials include children’s books, magazines, classroom visuals, early-learning resources, printable activities, and educational aids designed for preschool and early childhood classrooms, homeschool families, childcare programs, learning spaces, and families who simply want more culturally meaningful materials at home.

Our work centers Black stories, history, culture, creativity, identity, community, and everyday life—not only during Black History Month, but all year long.
