To be honest, English always made me feel nervous and insecure, like I wasn’t good enough. It was a subject I managed to pass many times without really understanding how. But with Nicolas, everything changed. It became much easier, and I even started to enjoy it. He creates such a warm, supportive, and trusting environment that truly encourages learning and gives me the confidence to try without fear. That makes a big difference for me.

About Me

I am an educator, author, agricultural engineer (agronomist), and researcher dedicated to the intersection of language, livestock welfare, and the human journey.

Since I was a child, I dreamed of living in an English-speaking country. After finishing university in Uruguay, I worked as a private tutor and eventually moved to Ireland to study English. It wasn't always easy — I faced challenges with work, communication, and adapting to a new life abroad.

Later, I moved to the UK, where I finally got the opportunity to work in business. That experience pushed me to grow, stay resilient, and keep improving my English skills. It is also where my family name, Oxley, comes from.

Being far from my family and everything familiar was not simple, but it taught me persistence, confidence, and the value of following a dream. Out of this journey, Oxley Roots was born — a project where I share my passion for teaching and agriculture. That's also how the idea for my Audio eBook on Agricultural English came to life.

I also spend my time writing. My second book, "Between Two Worlds" shares my journey from childhood to the person I am becoming today, written to guide those who feel they do not belong, just as I once did.

That journey led to my third and most important book, "Promoting Positive States in Cattle at the End of Life." After years spent with cattle, I propose a way to go beyond stress-free handling toward genuine positive welfare — making an animal's final hours not merely bearable, but good. It is the work all my years with cattle were leading to, and where my love for these animals and my training as an agronomist finally meet.

Today, I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned and helping others break their own language barriers. Through Oxley Roots, I offer General and Agricultural English programs that combine real-world communication, practical vocabulary, and professional development.
