My Moringa Iced Tea for PCOS Symptoms

  • PCOS-Friendly Sweeteners: Alternatives like stevia, coconut sugar, or xylitol provide sweetness without causing blood sugar spikes.
  • Lemon/Lime Juice: High in vitamin C, it supports healthy skin and boosts the immune system.
  • Turmeric: A powerful anti-inflammatory, turmeric helps reduce inflammation, a common PCOS symptom.

Recipe

Serves one (8 oz bottle)


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp dried moringa leaves or powder
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp PCOS-friendly sweetener (stevia, coconut sugar, or xylitol)
  • 1 tbsp lemon/lime juice
  • 1 tsp turmeric root or powder
  • 2 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a small pot. Add the dried moringa leaves or powder and turmeric.
  2. Remove from flame and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes
  3. Strain the tea into a jug or container and let it cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, lemon or lime juice, and your chosen sweetener. Shake in a closed container until everything is combined.
  5. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or serve immediately over ice.
