Superfood Cacao Brownies!!!

Hey loves! These little morsels of energy and goodness, I feel, deserves a proper post with instructions and recipe! Find the reel on my instagram of me enjoying these :)


I gave some to my neighbour, a family of Mexicans who take care of their elderly grandpa- they swim with him everyday, meditate outside together, and stretch in the sun. It is so precious to watch a someone taking care of their grandpa and being present regardless of all the things we all have to do in a day. So the day after I dropped them off some of these superfood squares, they made sure they spotted me to tell me how delicious they were. He said they devoured them all- even Grandpa! THIS is why I make raw desserts- and of course, to nourish my kids

SUBS


-Cacao butter and coconut butter can be subbed for each other so you can only purchase one of these ingredients and use it for each other- keep in mind cacao butter does add more chocolatey flavour, while coconut butter adds more coconut flavour

-Beet powder is optional but it adds a nutrient boost, and brings up the colour nicely!

-I always use an alcohol free vanilla if you can find! Medicine Flower Extracts have a really good one, I live in Mexico so it's easy to get such vanilla. You can always omit if you have to, just be aware that vanilla really brings up flavour!

-Plant milk is always better homemade! I have some recipes in my cookbook for those of you who have it
