Jon A. Parker, PhD, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, researcher, and wellness advocate specializing in men's mental health, marriage and family therapy, burnout recovery, and nature-based therapeutic interventions. He holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in Youth Development and Family Sciences from the University of Florida, where his research examined how nature-based interventions support mental health and sustainable well-being. Dr. Parker is the founder of Baleka Wellness, a community-centered wellness platform, and the Baleka Run Club, both of which integrate movement, connection, and nature as foundational tools for emotional resilience. His clinical practice has served professional athletes, entertainers, and business professionals navigating burnout, life transitions, stress management, and relationship challenges.
