Pamela Samuels Young is an attorney and award-winning author of more than a dozen novels. Her thriller Anybody's Daughter, a gripping tale of a teen unwittingly drawn into the world of child sex trafficking, won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Fiction.
Pamela penned her first legal thriller while working as an attorney at O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, in Los Angeles—rising at 4 a.m. to write before work, after work, and any other spare moment she could find. She continued writing while serving as in-house counsel for Raytheon Company and Toyota.
Prior to law school, she worked as a television news writer for WXYZ-TV in Detroit and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles.
Now a full-time novelist, Pamela received her law degree from UC Berkeley's School of Law, a bachelor's degree in journalism from USC, and a master's degree in broadcasting from Northwestern University.
