About Me

My name is Patricia Bernard- Bowie and I am a at home wife and mother of 7 beautiful children. My children ages range from 5 to 19 years old. I enjoy being a mother, but it can be a challenge most times. Being a perfect wife was just not happening. I was working from 7am to 4pm each day, but it cost less to just stay at home with the children. So, I did. I have been an at home mother for 7 years. I was depressed for a long time, and it was when I notice my family hurting just as much as I was that helped me to want to make a change. I decided that this was not the life I wanted for myself. I made the change to be happy. I now homeschool all my children. It took much sacrifice, I did it. Now I want the same for you. Continue to follow me and learn how I got off of my medications, gain control of my body and lost over 50lbs.

How I Keep My Kids (Mostly) Off Sugary Snacks I’ll be the first to admit it, my kids love sugar. If it were up to them, they’d snack on cookies, gummies, and juice boxes from sunrise to bedtime. And to be honest, I can’t really blame them. Sugar tas...
