Clouds: Nature's Sky Signals
A clear sky on a sunny day makes for the most boring of pictures; avoid it if you can! Clouds are the magic fairy dust (or cotton wool) that add sparkle and intrigue to a picturesque landscape.
Artists have known this fact for centuries, from the inspiring landscapes of Constable to classic seascapes by Turner, and through to the masterpieces of surrealists like Dali and Magritte. I take inspiration from them all.
