Hi, I’m Kareen Elauria, RN, a Filipino mum of four living in Australia and the creator behind Pinay Mum in Rocky.

As a busy mum, I know how easy it is for screens to become part of everyday family life..especially when there’s cooking, cleaning, work and a hundred other things to do!

I created my Screen Free Play guides to share simple, practical and affordable activities that families can enjoy at home. My goal is not to create perfect screen-free days, but to help parents find little opportunities for play, creativity and connection using things they may already have around the house.

Alongside being a mum, I’m also a Registered Nurse, and I value practical, safety-conscious information that parents can easily understand and use.

I hope my little corner of the internet gives you useful ideas, encouragement and a reminder that meaningful play doesn’t have to be complicated. 💛
