System Requirements.
On which system has it been tested?
All these presets have been tested on a Mac with Console 1 Compact.
Everything has been tested on the latest version available on September 1, 2026, of macOS, Console 1, and all plug-ins.
However, we can’t guarantee they’ll work on Windows. It depends on how the plug-ins are created. We’d love to hear from Windows users who’ve tried them to see if they work or not. They most likely do, but one or two plugins might have been created with different mapping parameters for Win then Mac and we have no way of testing that on a Mac!
But for now, we only supply installation instructions for Mac (if you know Windows file system well, you can figure it out - see the name of the installation folder on Mac and find the same for Windows).
It’s also important to note that you should not have moved your plug-ins from their original location in the VST3 folder, or some of the ‘presets’ won't work. Who does that anyway?
Console 1 uses VST3 plugins regardless of whether you use it as an AU or VST3 plugin. Therefore, it’s essential to ensure that all your plugins are installed as VST3, even if you only use Logic as your DAW.
We can’t guarantee that Softube won’t modify their software, rendering these presets obsolete, or that other software companies will alter their codes, causing compatibility issues. We disclaim any liability.
Therefore, thoroughly test them on your system before incorporating them into your daily mixing routine. They work for us, but they may not work for you.
Additionally, remember that you must own the plug-ins the ‘presets’ use for them to function.
