Who Am I?

My name is James, and I'm the crochet designer behind Project Ghost Patterns. I started crocheting in 2017 and transitioned to running my business full-time in 2025. I draw constant inspiration from the Arizona desert and my Native American culture. Through each design, which often features a supernatural twist, I aim to share my passion for the craft and its positive impact on the world.

In my weekly blog posts, videos, and newsletters, I offer insights into my creative process and advice for those looking to start their own projects. I want everyone to appreciate crochet for its true value and recognize its importance, especially during challenging times. My goal is to empower people of color to make their voices heard in the crafting community and to become a significant presence in the creative space.
