Autumn Sets in

Autumn is celebrated here with this lovely combination of warm tans and rich purples. This pattern features Harry the hedgehog looking for someone cosy to hibernate, Cedric the squirrel with his eye on a particularly yummy acorn, Rosie the rabbit among the blackberries, and Frederick the fox having a little snooze under the autumn foliage.

With a patchwork background featuring star points and squares in squares, the applique brings autumn indoors.

This quilt pattern is constructed from four patterns, with each block measuring 12 by 12" to give a complete quilt size of 24" by 24" (excluding seam allowances) and features a patchwork background with raw edge applique (sewn without fusible) secured with free-motion embroidery.

Autumn Hedgerow

A lovely project for beginners with a selection of autumn foliage and fauna.

Six of these animals are available separately as small projects, with the option to combine them into a larger project for the more advanced beginner.

The full quilt measures 20 by 28" and looks beautiful up on the wall.

Autumn Wreath

The autumn wreath is one of four seasonal quilts but I took the opportunity for the autumn variation to give it a distinctive Highland feel, with a Highland cow to really stand out in the middle.

Finishing at 40" square, this quilt is made from 5 main blocks and 4 border blocks and is full of lovely rich tans, browns, warm pinks, and touches of lilacs and soft lime greens to really bring out that autumnal feel.

The applique animals include a Caephallie, badgers, hares, sparrows, highland cat, crested tits, nuthatches and a hedgehog!
