Bohemian Spring

With this quilt I wanted to capture that riot of colour that spring encompasses. This quilt measures 24" square and spans the full wealth of colours from deep chocolatey earth browns, plums, sage and citrus greens, lavenders and pinks and golden tones. The woodland animals surround a spring time garland with butterflies and flowers.

The animals are appliqued from batik fabrics, and the whole quilt is free motion quilted in matching thread and bound with a dark brown.
