About Me
I'm Ralph Black — a pastor, a writer, and a lifelong student of Scripture. I serve as lay pastor at Grace Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lucas, Texas.
Most of what I write begins in the pulpit. I preach to a congregation of real people facing real questions, and when a message seems to matter beyond a single Sabbath morning, I work it into something that can be read, studied, and shared. That's what you'll find in this store: books and study guides that started as sermons and grew into something you can hold in your hands.
My aim as a writer is simple. I want to take the deep things of Scripture and say them plainly — clearly enough that a brand-new believer, a teenager, or someone who has never opened a Bible can follow every step, and honestly enough that a seasoned believer is challenged to go deeper. I don't water the message down. I just refuse to dress it up in language that keeps ordinary people out.
I write about the things I believe matter most in this hour: faithfulness in a culture that pulls us in a hundred directions, the prophetic moment we're living in, and what it actually looks like to follow God all the way rather than halfway. I care about books that don't just inform you, but ask something of you — and then help you do it.
If you're looking for writing that takes the Bible seriously, speaks plainly, and calls you to a real response, you're in the right place.
Take a look around the store. I'd be honored to have you read what I've written.
