I’m an educator, equity advocate, and scholar-practitioner dedicated to transforming how institutions support and retain underrepresented students—especially African American males. Through my work and research, I developed the RISE Framework (Resilience, Identity, Support, and Equity) to guide culturally responsive teaching, advising, and leadership.
