Although I was already a pianist and singer, songwriting was my solace when I became severely ill in my late teens with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. This was to be the start of a life-long journey with creativity spanning four decades. And although I’m now at home all the time, and no longer well enough to play or perform my music, I do have an archive of creative work to share with you. I have one EP and three full-length albums out now - Breathe, Somehow & Heartland – all recorded back in 1999- 2001. You can buy digital music here and CDs from here. A truly amazing ethereal voice with so much emotion oozing from every syllable, wonderful songs with superb lyrics...I feel privileged to be able to hear such sublime music.
One of the finest Female vocalists I’ve ever heard, and I’ve heard many.
Ruth Nina Welsh has a songwriting talent that is outdone only by her beautiful vocals…I’ve never felt more close to someone’s soul by listening to their music.
The first release from Heartland the album.
