I'm Latina Nickelson, founder of SOAR Educational Services, and I help families turn the chaos of special education into collaboration.

I'm a mom to four neurodiverse children and a non-attorney education advocate and IEP coach with over 25 years in education. I have sat on the parent side of the table, so I built these resources to give you what I wish I'd had: plain language, real steps, and the confidence to walk into any IEP or 504 meeting prepared.

My whole approach rests on one belief: your child belongs in their classroom and community by right, not by permission. We lead with curiosity over conflict and remove the barriers already in your child's way.
