Our Ancestors knew this. They knew that our cycle, and the reproductive organ that every woman is born with, had all the deep, dark and juicy secrets we women needed in order to live authentically. They knew how to incorporate these juicy details into their day to day lives, allowing them to live a more connected, more fulfilling life.
However, over 3,000 years ago, we were forced to live in a way that is not authentic to our natural flow in order to survive. We have forgotten the true power that resides in us. We had to learn to stand in the shadows, speak when spoken to, and never discuss these secrets amongst each other in public. It is because of this oppression that not a lot of women know the truth of who they are anymore.
In today’s society, we are taught to only speak about our bleed in hush voices, we have been conditioned to act in disgust or shame when we speak about our cycles, emotions, feelings or pain. All of which have been shoved into our womb closet and locked away, forever suppressed through all the generations before us.
We have been dealing with these awful diseases such as PCOS, Endometriosis and Fibroids ( the list goes on), pains in our body, and have been forced to live a life out of balance. We have forgotten what a healthy body feels like.
