Infused with heavy 80s and 90s nostalgia, Nixie’s stories are drawn from decades of adventures, snapshots, and real-life chronicles in underground clubs across the country. She weaves intoxicating characters and sultry encounters into settings that feel like living shrines to the subculture.

Away from the keyboard, Nixie sticks to the music. Whether she’s on the floor at a local Dark Disco, behind the decks DJing her community's annual Silent Disco, or lost in a D&D campaign, her life is driven by that same vivid love for the scene and for imagination. She can be found tweaking her Linux setup just for the fun of it, playing in her garden, or fiddling with a new playlist with a cat nearby.

There’s a running joke that her books are an incantation that turns readers into goths for at least a week. Nixie’s gladly guilty of all accusations.
